The challenge
The project involved The Gables Hotel, a charming property nestled in the picturesque town of Wotton-Under-Edge. The hotel's main function room was hampered by an outdated, malfunctioning, and leaking air conditioning system. Following an engineer's assessment, Smart Projects presented two options: repair the existing system or undertake a full replacement.
The solution
Recognising the need for a guaranteed long-term solution and prioritising efficiency, the decision was made to replace the existing air conditioning system. This approach ensured optimal performance, reliability, and energy savings for The Gables Hotel.
Smart projects were able to reuse some of the existing pipework within the ceiling void. Keeping costs and time on site to a minimum.
The result
Guests now enjoy consistent, comfortable temperatures throughout the hotel, regardless of the season.
